## Description

We are seeking a Principal Engineer - OLE to undertake Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) design and engineering activities within our group. You will lead the OLE team for projects independently, analyse project requirements, and provide input to the project manager on design and consultancy services. Your responsibilities will include delivering OLE projects, providing technical support, and mentoring junior engineers.

**Responsibilities:**

- Deliver OLE projects and lead project teams based in Bengaluru

- Provide OLE inputs and outputs to rail engineering projects

- Contribute OLE engineering input to multi-disciplinary railway engineering projects

- Independently handle overhead line electrification projects and guide/mentor the OLE team

- Prepare, check, and review layout plans, bonding plans, cross-sections, and project reports

- Perform OLE-related calculations and ensure compliance

- Interact with other rail disciplines and gather/provide design-related information

- Contribute to developing WSP's expertise in OLE engineering and rail engineering

- Observe company quality and project management disciplines and procedures

- Train and mentor graduate and junior engineers

- Communicate effectively with the lead country

- Organize knowledge-sharing and lessons-learned sessions

- Participate in internal and external audit preparations

- Ensure project delivery with quality and on-time submission

**Requirements:**

- 12-20 years of experience in OLE design, with Australian geography experience preferred

- Proficient with AutoCAD and MicroStation

- Excellent mentoring and communication skills

- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical

- Proficient with MS Office, especially PowerPoint

- Professionally accredited

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Quality and safety-oriented design skills with on-time delivery approach
