## Description

We are evolving our Service Management team to move beyond support and operations. As a Senior Engineer in service management, you will be part of a diverse and inclusive organization that has full ownership of the availability, performance, and scalability of one of the most critical services at LSEG.

You will:

- Maintain Service Level Objectives for the systems you own, constantly measuring and improving availability, latency, and overall system health.

- Write automation to scale systems sustainably, prevent service issues, or quickly recover service when issues occur.

- Partner with development teams to improve system reliability, observability, and release velocity.

- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, postmortems, and root cause analysis and resolution.

- Advocate for strong engineering practices that enable building, deploying, and running scalable, reliable, and performant services.

- Enable Cloud migration working with foundation and migration teams from project inception, performing architectural reviews, operational acceptable testing, and configuring Datadog dashboards and metrics.

- Be part of a continuous learning and development culture.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related technical field involving software/systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or similar.

- Experience in maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

- Hands-on experience with one of the following cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

- Incident response and running blameless post-mortems.

- Proficient in Git workflows.

Preferred qualifications:

- Minimum 8-10 years in the industry.

- Experience with DevOps concepts and way of working.

- Experience with algorithms and data structures.

- Understanding of identity and access management, and application security.

- Native Azure relational databases.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Anticipated base salary: $114,200 - $190,400.

- Eligible for Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
