## Description

As the Electrical Markets Division Application Engineering Director, you will lead the Global Electrical Markets Division Application Engineering organization.

You will define and execute the global application engineering strategy aligned with business and technology roadmaps.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Partnering with R&D, product management, marketing, sales, and operations to identify customer needs and convert them into scalable technical solutions.

- Monitoring industry trends, competitive technologies, and emerging laboratory application needs to inform innovation priorities.

- Overseeing application development, product validation support, demo protocols, and technical performance optimization.

- Establishing global processes, tools, and best practices for application engineering across regions and teams.

- Developing key customer relationships.

- Supporting new product introduction by ensuring application readiness, technical documentation, and customer use-case validation.

- Building and leading a high-performing global team, including hiring, coaching, succession planning, and capability development.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.

- Ten years of experience in application engineering, laboratory technology, technical service, product development, or related leadership roles.

Preferred qualifications include:

- A Master's degree and/or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Engineering, or Material Science.

- Experience leading global or multi-regional technical teams.

- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional programs and influencing senior stakeholders.

- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership capabilities.

The expected compensation range for this position is $250,253 - $305,864.
