## Description

Crosby Composites, a leading carbon fibre manufacturer, primarily serving high-end luxury automotive and Formula 1, seeks a Metrology Inspector for their Brackley site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out dimensional inspections of components using Romer Arms for probing and 3D scanning, and PolyWorks for inspection, measurement, scanning, alignment, and dimensional analysis.

Key responsibilities:

- Perform dimensional inspections using Romer Arms and PolyWorks

- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances to ensure component conformity

- Conduct accurate first-off, in-process, and final inspections

- Use various conventional and advanced metrology equipment to verify component dimensions and quality

- Produce clear and accurate inspection reports and maintain up-to-date inspection and quality documentation

- Identify dimensional deviations and non-conformances, communicating findings to relevant teams

- Support investigations into dimensional and manufacturing issues

- Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve inspection issues and improve manufacturing processes

- Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the inspection and metrology function

The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven hands-on experience as a Metrology Inspector or Dimensional Inspector

- Practical experience using Romer Arms for probing and scanning

- Practical experience using PolyWorks for inspection and dimensional analysis

- Strong understanding of dimensional metrology and inspection techniques

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T

- Experience using a range of precision measurement and inspection equipment

- Good communication skills
