## Description

As an Optical Manager at Asda, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the optical department. You will oversee a team of optometrists and optical assistants, manage compliance processes, and review sales forecasting and department targets.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing the entire operation of the optical department

- Overseeing a team of optometrists and optical assistants

- Ensuring high-quality patient service

- Managing clinic schedules and shop floor processes

- Coaching and developing team members

- Maintaining excellent customer and patient care

Requirements:

- Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC

- On track to meet statutory points requirement for CPD

- Confident in coaching others

- Excellent customer and patient care skills

- Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced optics environment

- Organised and able to manage time effectively
