## Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our National Security Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area. As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and testing software applications. This position is eligible for a $25,000 sign-on bonus.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

- Analyse user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.

- Debug existing software and correct defects.

- Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.

- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.

- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.

- Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.

- Write or review software and system documentation.

**Basic Qualifications:**

- Seven years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.

- Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Demonstrated experience and proficiency designing and developing cloud applications in an AWS environment.

- Python development experience.

- Demonstrated experience developing applications in a Linux environment.

- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS and enterprise DevOps tools.

- Hands-on experience developing microservices and event-driven architectures.

- Working knowledge and understanding of containerization technologies.

- Working knowledge and demonstrated project experience developing solutions for big data platforms.
