## Description

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Children's Nurse to join our dedicated Children's Unit team at The Princess Margaret Hospital, Windsor. This is a part-time role for 15 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern.

The successful candidate will deliver age-appropriate, evidence-based nursing care for children across a range of clinical settings. Key responsibilities include:

- Monitoring and responding to changes in condition, escalating concerns, and carrying out clinical observations, treatments, and interventions safely

- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with NMC and organisational guidelines

- Working in partnership with families and carers, providing information, reassurance, and emotional support throughout the care journey

- Involving parents in care planning and discharge preparation, recognising their role in supporting recovery and wellbeing

- Communicating effectively with children of all ages, using appropriate play, distraction, and communication techniques

Applicants should have:

- Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Children / Paediatrics)

- Experience delivering nursing care to children and young people in hospital or community settings

- Strong communication and family liaison skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environment

- Understanding of safeguarding, child development, and family dynamics
