We are seeking a visionary, strategic, and highly technical VP of Product for Identity Management to lead two of our fastest-growing and most critical strategic pillars: Okta Identity Governance (OIG) and Okta Privileged Access (OPA).

As the VP of Product, you will own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and execution for our modern Workforce Identity Cloud governance and privileged access solutions. You will lead a high-performing team of product managers, collaborating closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to redefine how enterprises manage identity lifecycle, compliance, and high-risk access in a cloud-first world.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute the multi-year product strategy for OIG and OPA

- Recruit, mentor, and inspire a world-class team of Product Managers

- Work hand-in-hand with Engineering leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and intuitive enterprise-grade products

- Spend time with Fortune 500 CISOs, IT leaders, and industry analysts to deeply understand market trends, regulatory compliance needs, and customer pain points

- Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to define Go-To-Market strategies, pricing, packaging, and enablement

- Ensure seamless integration of OIG and OPA within the broader Okta Identity Cloud ecosystem

What You Bring (Qualifications):

- Deep, practical experience within the Identity & Access Management (IAM) landscape

- 12+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role

- Proven track record of scaling enterprise software products from early traction to $100M+ in ARR

- Ability to converse deeply with engineers about cloud architecture, APIs, zero-trust security frameworks, and AI/ML-driven automation

- Exceptional ability to distill complex, ambiguous market dynamics into a clear, actionable product roadmap

- Masterful storytelling skills to inspire internal teams, command the room with executive stakeholders, and build trust with enterprise customers

The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $329,000-$452,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington is between: $294,000-$403,000 USD Okta offers equity, bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave.
