## Description

ICON is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator 2 to join its Accellacare team in Knoxville, TN. The successful candidate will ensure the safety of volunteers, promote the mission of Accellacare, and strive to meet and exceed study priorities.

Responsibilities:

- Perform study start-up duties, including production of recruitment tools and progress notes, and phone screening patients

- Develop and execute recruitment plans to meet and exceed enrollment goals

- Complete training on Clinical Trial Management System and maintain proper skills to update database and complete participant reimbursement

- Attend investigator meetings and create and update source documents/progress notes

- Accurately collect study data via source documents/progress notes as required by the protocol

- Perform technical requirements of the study protocol, such as lab work and blood pressure monitoring

- Build and maintain strong relationships with Investigators and provide ongoing communication about trial status and participants

- Dispense study medication at the direction of the Investigator and maintain communication with the monitor from the sponsoring company

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator

- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and planning skills

- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or other related field
