## Description

At WSP, you'll find opportunities to grow and make a difference. As an Assistant Engineer in the Blue Green Infrastructure team, you'll work on complex surface water issues using sustainable drainage practices and blue-green infrastructure.

You will provide technical input on urban drainage projects, produce high-quality outputs, and support engineering solutions from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction. You'll also contribute to knowledge sharing and promote the WSP brand through industry forums.

The team works on public realm improvement schemes, SuDS retrofit, and high-profile projects like HS2 and Smart Motorways. You'll assist in developing fee proposals, producing engineering designs, and helping local authorities prevent flooding.

Requirements include a degree in a relevant discipline, knowledge of urban drainage design, experience with hydraulic modelling software (e.g., InfoWorks, FLOW), competence with AutoCAD, and familiarity with geographical information systems (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo).
