### Strategic Solution Engineer (Retail/CPG/Life Sciences)

You will be a Strategic Solution Engineer at Salesforce, focusing on large-scale enterprise customers in industries such as B2C retail, consumer goods, and life sciences. Your role involves designing strategic solution architectures and leading technical proposals by integrating Salesforce's full product portfolio and partner ecosystem.

### What You'll Actually Be Doing

- **Deep Engagement with Top-Priority Accounts**:

- Develop and drive mid- to long-term IT transformation roadmaps and account plans with sales teams and Account Solution Engineers.

- Build relationships with executives and IT leaders, establishing long-term trust through regular discussions and strategic reviews.

- Lead overall architecture design and concept visualization for large, complex deals requiring advanced technical requirements.

- **Industry Enhancement and Partner Ecosystem Collaboration**:

- Define optimal solution models combining industry trends with technology platforms like autonomous AI Agentforce and Data Cloud.

- Design and optimize data integration and system integration architectures between customers' systems and the Salesforce platform.

- Drive joint solution design and go-to-market strategies with ecosystem partners.

- **Organizational Contribution, Knowledge Sharing, and Team Development**:

- Standardize architecture patterns and proposal frameworks from complex deals and roll them out across the Solution Engineering organization.

- Provide on-the-job training and share knowledge with team members to enhance technical skills and proposal quality.

### You're Our Person If...

- Experience in solution design and technical proposals in enterprise IT (10+ years recommended).

- Track record of presenting to and building consensus with executive and IT leadership.

- Logical thinking to translate complex business challenges into mid- to long-term technology vision and system architecture.

- Strong communication and orchestration skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

- Fluent-Level Japanese.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MIS, or equivalent practical experience.

### Even Better If...

- Industry knowledge and proposal/implementation experience in retail, consumer goods, life sciences, etc.

- Knowledge of, or design and build experience with, Salesforce platforms.

- Experience designing system integration and enterprise integration architectures with core systems.

- Track record of coaching and developing internal members and contributing to organizational knowledge sharing.

- Business-level English.
