## Description

As a Supply Chain Courier Driver at Barts Health NHS Trust, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Supply Chain Distribution Centre.

You will be responsible for the delivery, collection, and transportation of goods, products, and equipment around the Trust and local area. You will also need to ensure that collected goods and equipment are clean and safe for re-issue.

The successful candidate will be expected to consistently deliver a client-focused service, promoting good customer service and effective working relationships.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Deliver, collect, and transport goods, products, and equipment around the Trust and local area

- Ensure collected goods and equipment are clean and safe for re-issue

- Provide a client-focused service, promoting good customer service and effective working relationships

- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the Supply Chain Distribution Centre

**Requirements:**

- NVQ level 2 or equivalent in literacy and numeracy

- Valid driving licence with B entitlement

- Minimum 2 years of driving experience

- Experience of safe driving in varied weather, road, restricted spaces, and traffic conditions

- Ability to drive a manual van up to 3.5 tonnes in adverse weather conditions

- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive items securely

**Desirable Qualifications and Experience:**

- Previous experience working in an NHS environment

- Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment

- Previous experience driving in a multi-drop role
