## Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Custodian and Streetworks Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Local Street Gazetteer (LSG), supporting the coordination and administration of streetworks, ensuring the accuracy of street records, and liaising with internal teams and external organisations.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining the LSG and ensuring data accuracy

- Supporting the coordination and administration of streetworks

- Liaising with internal teams and external organisations

- Assessing and approving or refusing permit and licence applications

- Issuing fixed penalty notices for non-compliant notifications and breaches of permit conditions

- Raising task orders and invoices, and running reports

The post holder will also play a significant role in delivering the Council's statutory duties under NRSWA and Traffic Management Act regulations.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong organisational and administrative skills

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Experience with Microsoft Office

- Knowledge of streetworks or local authority systems is an advantage

- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

The salary range for this role is £43,449 - £45,123 per year.
