As a KYC Operations Associate Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring Wise adheres to the highest regulatory and compliance standards. You'll play a crucial role in protecting our customers and maintaining the integrity of our platform by conducting thorough customer due diligence, analyzing customer activities, and meticulously maintaining our KYC records.

**Responsibilities**

- Customer and Business Onboarding: Conduct initial and ongoing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews, making critical risk-based decisions to ensure risk mitigation standards are met.

- Transaction Monitoring and Periodic Reviews: Review customer transaction history, providing key insights into customer behavior patterns that could indicate risks.

- Documentation and Record Keeping: Ensure customer records are accurate and updated as required, maintaining organized and detailed records of customers and KYC decisions.

- Risk Assessment and Escalation: Perform and document customer risk assessments, escalating activities that exceed internal risk tolerance.

- Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers through various channels, providing top-notch service and support.

**Qualifications**

- Excellent verbal and written English skills, with additional language skills being a plus.

- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Operations, preferably in CDD/EDD/AML or compliance roles.

- Basic knowledge of global KYC/AML compliance regulations and standards.

- Ability to take decisions and apply risk-based approach at work.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to adhere to strict KPIs in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
