## Description

Shape a brighter financial future with Social Finance, LLC, a next-generation financial services company and national bank. As a Senior Software Engineer in Seattle, WA, you will lead the development and testing of system components/services, participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product, and help translate user stories into technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Lead development and testing of system components/services, code and design reviews

- Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product

- Help translate user stories into technical solutions

- Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment

- Mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team

- Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies

- Communicate with project leads, product managers and other software developers

Requirements:

- Master's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline

- Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field

Special Skill Requirements:

- Software engineering proficiency, with practical application across object-oriented programming, infrastructure-as-code, software design, and data structures

- Relational Database including PostgresSQL and SQL

- Backend frameworks including Spring boot and Spring framework; testing framework including Mockito

- Cloud Platforms including AWS, cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes; continuous integration/continuous deployment tools

- Software Development Methodologies (Agile or SCRUM)

- Experience working in a collaborative coding environment (git), refining designs together, writing tests, working through code reviews and managing pull requests

- Observability/monitoring/log analytics platform including Kibana

- Workflow orchestration (Temporal)

Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from SoFi offices in Seattle, WA.

Salary: $200,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year & standard company benefits.
