## Description

As an OEM Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing key accounts and increasing sales to these accounts and new accounts. You will operate in a global network to support local Key Account Managers and establish excellent contacts with key accounts.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Proactively developing business opportunities with existing and new key accounts

- Operating in a global network to support local Key Account Managers and establishing excellent contacts with key accounts

- Coordinating the business of key accounts globally as an interface between the key account and FUCHS stakeholders

- Setting prices and negotiating terms and conditions

- Visiting customers, following up on current projects, and searching for new opportunities

- Having extensive knowledge of the key account's worldwide activities, product portfolio, and applications

- Representing customer interests towards FUCHS and vice versa

- Identifying risks and solving conflicts

FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $125,000 plus a competitive bonus plan.

## Skills

### Required
- technical knowledge of automotive applications
- experience with lubricants/specialty chemicals
- proven experience in initiating, managing, and closing sales processes with OEM/Tier customers
- independent, highly motivated, hard worker with affinity to sales and hunter mentality
- track record of securing new accounts and relating with new customers
- supplementary knowledge in finance, marketing, and management
- minimum of 5 years' working experience in a similar sales and key account management position
- outstanding consultative selling abilities and interpersonal skills
- decision maker with negotiation skills, willing to work under pressure
- strategic vision and planning
- proactivity and goal-orientation
- capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
- team spirit and able to work in international teams
- proficiency in use of MS-Office applications and CRM (Salesforce desired)
