## Description

## The Role

As a Solutions Engineer at Carta, you will join the EU Investors team, working with Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Private Credit Funds. Your primary goal will be to collaborate with the Go-To-Market team to identify and build the best solution for customers, using Carta's platform to track and manage portfolios, and liaise with investors.

## Responsibilities

- Impart confidence and gain trust of prospects in Carta's holistic fund administration solutions

- Partner closely with the Fund Administration and Product teams to be an expert on product and service offerings

- Interface with prospects and strategic channel partners to scope requirements and build confidence in Carta's products

- Provide product and technical financial expertise to drive meaningful progress towards team quarterly revenue goals

- Support BD team at partner offsite seminars and events

## Requirements

- Qualified accountant with 7+ years of experience in accounting or another relevant area such as corporate finance

- In-depth understanding of fund structures (Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Private Credit)

- Strong understanding of Venture Capital or Private Equity, ideally with regards to back office fund operations and fund administration

- Proven track record of stakeholder management or client relationship management and excellent communication skills

- Interest in software products built to solve technical financial problems

## Nice-to-Haves

- Experience working in a SAAS customer-facing role

- Experience in a Fund Accounting / Fund Administration role

- Knowledge and experience of European Alternative Funds regulations
