## Description

The Boeing Company is seeking Flight Software Engineers (Associate / Experienced / Senior) to support the Flight Software Team located in El Segundo, CA. In this role, you will lead a team with design, implementation, and test of flight software with a focus on leadership, quality, earned value, and development of new capabilities for current and future satellite programs.

Responsibilities:

- Design, integrate, modify, test, and debug software integrated into embedded devices and systems

- Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements for software products

- Build and write code for embedded systems software

- Integrate embedded software with hardware components

- Analyze, monitor, and improve the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems

- Test and debug software for embedded devices and systems

- Drive software execution to deliver products on-cost and on-schedule

- Responsible for satellite and payload software safety, assurance, quality, and engineering excellence

- Produce design and test documentation and artifacts

- Conduct Cyber Vulnerability Analysis (CVA) for multiple processing platforms

- Design and implement cyber monitoring algorithms

- Design and write custom tools to support configuration automation and improve development workflow

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree

- Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security Clearance post-start

- 2+ years of experience designing and developing software for a real-time or non-real-time system

- 2+ years of experience in software development using languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with the full software development lifecycle

- Experience using team collaboration tools including GitLab, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence

- Experience in embedded real-time software development

- Experience with Wireshark or other network analysis tools and Debuggers

- Experience automating software builds, unit tests, and integration tests using a DevOps tool chain

Salary Range:

- Associate: $106,250 – $143,750

- Experienced: $135,150 - $182,850

- Senior: $171,700 – $232,200
