## Description

We are seeking a talented Flight and Mission Software Development Lead to work onsite in our Huntsville, AL office. As a leadership position, you will lead a talented software team through the software development life cycle (SDLC) to produce solutions for advanced defense technologies.

**Primary Responsibilities**

- Lead a Software Integrated Product Team (IPT) and work across technical functions on cohesive integrated solutions.

- Provide software program management and oversee software systems engineers and lead software test engineers.

- Serve as Agile Product Owner and make direct contributions to proposals.

- Communicate with customers, end-users, internal stakeholders, and team members on a frequent basis.

**Basic Qualifications**

- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

- 12+ years of relevant technical experience and 3+ years of experience leading teams and managing resources for software development.

- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

- Experience in development of software products or simulations using C, C++, Rust, C#, or Java.

**Clearance Qualification**

- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess and maintain a Secret Security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

**Preferred Experience, Skills or Abilities**

- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Atlassian Jira, Trello, Monday.com.

- Knowledge of autonomous systems, electrical and software interface design, and avionics.

- Experience with rapid flight systems development, including Agile/Scrum, unmanned aircraft or robotics, and embedded development.

**Pay Range:** $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
