## Description

We are seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Regulatory Assurance to partner with the bank, providing independent insurance on control processes and advising on improvements to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the bank's internal controls framework.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate across the bank to maintain a satisfactory, robust, and efficient control environment through ad-hoc assessments and testing on the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls.

- Develop detailed test plans and procedures to identify weaknesses in internal controls and other initiatives aligned to the bank's control framework.

- Communicate key findings and observations to stakeholders and business units to improve overall control efficiency and provide corrective actions.

- Develop a knowledge centre containing detailed documentation of control assessments, testing, findings, and distribute materials to train and upskill colleagues.

**Assistant Vice President Expectations:**

**Requirements:**

- Lead delivery of regulatory assurance reviews across assigned Finance and Regulatory Reporting processes.

- Execute end-to-end assurance activities including planning, risk assessment, testing, issue validation, root cause analysis, and reporting of findings.

- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key controls supporting regulatory reporting, prudential compliance, and finance governance processes.

- Identify control weaknesses, emerging risks, and thematic trends, providing clear and practical recommendations.

- Track remediation activities and validate issue closure.

**Location:** This role is based out of Chennai/Gurugram location.
