## Description

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to manage the business unit financial consolidation process, prepare financial statements, and provide project profitability analysis.

**Job Overview** As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing the financial performance of our business units. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, analysing project profitability, and providing insights to support business decisions.

**Responsibilities**

- Undertake financial analyses for multiple business units using various reporting tools to compare actual performance against latest estimates and budgets

- Perform financial analyses at project level, GL account level, regional level, and consolidated view of the portfolio

- Coordinate responses from project financial managers and operational leaders to explain variances or changes outside agreed tolerances

- Partner with operational leaders on forecast preparation, budget planning, and risk mitigation actions

- Maintain a detailed understanding of operational leader requirements and develop processes to meet or exceed these requirements

- Assist in developing quarterly business unit operating review presentations for senior leadership

- Perform business case analyses to evaluate investment decisions

- Review month-end entries and record topside entries if needed

- Ensure compliance with internal financial accounting procedures and policies

**Requirements**

- Comprehensive technical accounting skills, including different types of revenue recognition methods under GAAP

- Knowledge of finance modules of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft

- Experience with AI, preferably Copilot

- Power BI and Power Query knowledge

- Microsoft Office applications, with Excel expertise being a must

- Strong analytical and numeracy skills

- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- Strong influential skills

- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines

**Minimum Required Education and Experience**

- +7 years of work experience in financial planning and analysis, including exposure to month-end close

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance

- MBA and/or CPA preferred
