## Description

We are seeking an Associate in Treasury to work on regulatory and internal deliverables. As part of the Finance division, you will act as a partner to business units globally, providing management, review, analysis, and advisory services.

In this Associate level position within the Treasury and Capital Planning job family, you will be responsible for planning, managing, forecasting, and optimizing capital, liquidity, and funding resources. You will also contribute to governance oversight, set frameworks and policies, and manage regulatory deliverables.

Key responsibilities include:

- Collaborating with colleagues in Finance and across the Firm

- Leading aspects of individual and team deliverables and projects

- Adhering to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls

- Acting as a culture carrier and embodying the Firm's values

- Supporting capital management for Morgan Stanley entities across Asia

- Analyzing capital implications from business plans and activities

- Optimizing capital adequacy in the region and partnering with stakeholders

- Assisting in producing the annual Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (CAAP)

- Keeping abreast of new regulatory capital rules and evaluating their impact

- Liaising with groups across Corporate Treasury and supporting strategic initiatives

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- In-depth knowledge of Finance functional areas, products, and client segments

- Technical skills and understanding of the industry and competitive environment

- Ability to operate independently and provide constructive feedback

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Experience working in a high-paced environment and multitasking

- Previous experience in financial services and Treasury

- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

- Self-motivation and ability to work independently with a global team

- At least 2 years of relevant experience
