## Description

CVS Health is seeking a Principal AI/Automation Solutions Architect to join the AI/ML Solutions Delivery organization. This senior technical leader will drive the strategy, architecture, and adoption of enterprise-scale AI, automation, and agentic solutions.

The Principal AI/Automation Solutions Architect will serve as a trusted advisor, connecting AI Platform Engineering teams and Product Delivery organizations. They will define and govern reusable architecture patterns, lead discovery sessions, and provide architectural governance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Translating platform capabilities into production-ready solution architectures

- Defining and validating reusable architecture patterns

- Leading discovery sessions and architecture workshops

- Providing architectural governance and technical leadership

- Communicating architecture decisions and technical trade-offs to stakeholders

Required qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or technology consulting

- 9+ years of experience architecting AI, machine learning, automation, or agentic AI solutions

- 8+ years of experience partnering with platform engineering organizations and product teams

- 7+ years of experience designing and governing architectures incorporating multi-agent orchestration and large language model integrations

- 5+ years of experience leading architecture reviews and technical governance processes

Preferred qualifications:

- Strong full-stack engineering background

- Experience with Google Vertex AI, Anthropic Claude, Azure AI, AWS AI services, and other technologies

- Knowledge of prompt engineering, context engineering, and enterprise AI design patterns

- Experience supporting healthcare, pharmacy, cybersecurity, or other highly regulated enterprise environments
