## Description

We are seeking a Computer Test Technician to join our team in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. As a Computer Test Technician, you will be responsible for reviewing and testing the operability of electrical systems and components, troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning systems and components, and participating with engineers in the debugging and troubleshooting of new and existing products.

The qualified candidate would be assigned to work 2nd shift: 3:00pm- 11:30pm Monday-Friday. You will be expected to operate manual and power hand tools, drive scrap cost reduction down by minimizing scrap costs to business through handling errors, and maintain a safe & clean work area.

Responsibilities:

- Reviews and tests operability of electrical systems and components

- Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning systems and components

- Reads/interprets schematics, printouts and specifications as needed to complete tests

- Participates with engineers in the debugging and troubleshooting of new and existing products

- Operates manual and power hand tools

- Maintains a safe & clean work area

- Lifts up to 40lbs repetitively over the course of an 8hr day

- Maintains successful communication and working relationship with management & peers of all levels

Requirements:

- Typically an Associate's degree or equivalent experience and 4-6 years of experience

- May include highly experienced individuals performing equivalent work who are non-degreed or degreed in an unrelated field

- Must be a US Citizen

- Working knowledge in the field of electronics technology

- Ability to be knowledgeable in Lunix commands and structure

- Ability to define root cause analysis on failing hardware

- Ability to utilize various hand tools to accomplish job functions
