## Description

We are seeking a New Model Principal Project Engineer to join our Supply Chain Management Operations (OPS) Department. As a key member of our team, you will lead studies and projects related to new model development from an OPS perspective, focusing on designing and implementing internal logistics flows of parts through a specific Honda plant to the production line for new models.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Serve as a subject matter expert on Supply Chain Operations activities for new model projects, collaborating with production departments and third-party logistics companies.

- Develop strategies to ensure process readiness, stability, and capability to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

- Liaise between design, production, quality, and suppliers during model launches.

- Lead process group members in studies and manage new model warehouse functions as required.

- Implement process capability improvements and apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

- Lead new model project teams, including 3PLs, SCO Process Engineers, and other support members.

- Drive implementation of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and standardization.

- Mentor associates and provide feedback on work output and quality.

**Requirements:**

- Engineering-related degree or equivalent work experience.

- 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations or project management.

- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

- Organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

- Understanding of warehouse management functions and support of manufacturing operations.
