## Description

At Abnormal AI, we are on a mission to safeguard the world's largest enterprises against email and collaboration application cyber security attacks.

As a Software Engineer on the Multi-Product Platform (MPP) team, you'll create a standardised data layer that becomes our single source of truth , governing how systems, agents, or interfaces access data from across every product.

## Responsibilities

### Technical Delivery & Operational Excellence

- Design, build, and iterate on APIs and services for the standardised data access layer.

- Drive adoption of API-gated data sources for product teams to expose and reuse data.

- Implement standard labeling for data ownership and validation logic for incoming requests.

- Own the reliability and stability of components and features.

- Contribute to architectural decisions and write technical design documents.

- Participate in code and design reviews and team-wide on-call rotation.

- Write testable, readable code with attention to edge cases and errors.

### Teamwork & Collaboration

- Communicate effectively with team members asynchronously.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams.

- Take ownership of projects and drive positive impact.

- Participate in team roadmap discussions.

- Contribute to knowledge sharing and professional development.

## Requirements

- Software Engineer with 4+ years of industry experience and strong software engineering fundamentals.

- Growth-oriented with ability to own complex problems and collaborate across teams.

- Strong experience with Python and/or Golang, SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Experience with system design and building reliable, scalable applications.

- Detail-driven with focus on code quality, testing, and performance.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously and asynchronously.
