## Description

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the United States Postal Service. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will have the opportunity to make a personal impact and grow a rewarding career.

**Education** A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not required. If you do not have a relevant college degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.

**Required Experience** You will need 8+ years of relevant experience.

**Required Skills**

- Experience defining system- and enterprise-level technical requirements and architectures for Delivery and Retail Technologies (DRT).

- Ability to collect, analyze, and document technical requirements from system owners and stakeholders.

- Experience designing technology solutions that integrate successfully across multiple platforms.

- Ability to provide technical guidance and support throughout the full development lifecycle.

- Experience leading technical design and review sessions.

- Experience overseeing system testing, certification, and deployment activities.

- Ability to develop enterprise-level technology and process architectures using industry best practices.

- Demonstrated ability to design solutions that reduce total cost of ownership.

- Experience independently evaluating business and technical task orders, including software development work.

- Ability to develop level-of-effort (LOE) and rough-order-of-magnitude (ROM) estimates.

- Experience assessing supplier proposals for appropriate schedules, staffing, resources, costs, and technical feasibility.

- Strong technical analysis, stakeholder facilitation, communication, and supplier-management skills.

**Security Clearance Level** You will need to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process.

**Location** The work location is Merryfield HQ Engineering Building, 8409 Lee Hwy, Merrifield, VA 22116.
