## Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Stores & Supply Chain team at Target. The successful candidate will play a critical role in building and maintaining the applications and technology that power Target's extensive retail and fulfillment network.

The Senior Engineer, Stores & Supply Chain builds the applications and technology that power Target's extensive retail and fulfillment network, ensuring products are available where and when guests need them. Supporting 2,000+ stores, 50+ warehouses, and a $19B annual inventory flow, we build scalable, reliable systems that drive fast, secure checkout, flexible fulfillment, and seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and gain insight in the application architecture

- Distill an abstract architecture into concrete design and influence the implementation

- Apply software engineering patterns to build robust and scalable systems

- Design and implement architecture independently

- Collaborate with fellow engineers by proposing software designs and providing feedback

- Troubleshoot operational issues and eliminate repeat occurrences

Requirements:

- 4-year degree or equivalent experience

- 5+ years of software development experience with at least one full cycle implementation

- Demonstrated strong domain-specific knowledge regarding Target's technology capabilities

- Broad and deep expertise in multiple computer languages and frameworks

- Experience in building highly scalable distributed systems
