## Description

We are seeking a Bartender to join our team at Pullman Kuching, a modern hotel located in the heart of Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to our guests while ensuring excellent service, product quality, and a clean and well-organised bar area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.

- Provide friendly and professional service to guests.

- Ensure drinks are prepared consistently and presented according to hotel standards.

- Take beverage orders accurately and attend to guest requests.

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and service areas.

- Ensure sufficient mise en place, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies are available.

- Monitor beverage stock and assist with inventory and stock-taking.

- Follow proper procedures for opening and closing the bar.

- Handle cash and billing transactions accurately when required.

- Minimize wastage and breakage and ensure proper portion control.

- Comply with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

- Maintain good knowledge of the beverage menu and assist guests with recommendations.

- Support the team during events, functions, and busy service periods.

- Ensure compliance with hotel and Accor standards, policies, and procedures.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the F&B Management.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or bar.

- Knowledge of cocktails, beverages, and basic bartending techniques.

- Good customer service and communication skills.

- Positive, friendly, and service-oriented attitude.

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Good team player with a willingness to learn.

- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

- Open to Malaysian candidates only; preferably local Sarawakian.
