## Description

We are seeking a Vice President to join our Digital Assets Strategy team at Barclays. The successful candidate will help advance a global digital asset strategy across Barclays' wholesale and consumer businesses.

The role involves:

- Identifying digital asset opportunities, challenging assumptions, and recommending where Barclays should compete, invest, and partner

- Assessing client demand, sizing opportunities, and building quantified business cases

- Turning recommendations into delivery roadmaps with clear owners, milestones, and success measures

- Partnering with businesses and coverage teams to validate client needs and shape commercially viable digital asset propositions

- Translating market, competitor, technology, and regulatory developments into strategic recommendations

- Strengthening Group-wide alignment across digital asset strategy, commercialization, technology, and control functions

The ideal candidate will have:

- Domain expertise in digital assets and financial services, with an understanding of market developments, relevant use cases, business models, and practical constraints

- An entrepreneurial mindset, able to operate confidently without a playbook

- Execution focus, combining strategic thinking with practical delivery

- Learning agility, able to get up to speed quickly and respond to market developments

- A background in corporate strategy, management consulting, banking, or a relevant digital assets or FinTech role

- Analytical and financial rigor, able to size markets and build business cases

- Clear communication, able to understand complex topics and explain them simply

- Executive presence and influence, able to communicate with clarity and conviction
