## Description

We are seeking a Trading Manager to join our Impulse team at Asda, responsible for owning the end-to-end trading performance of the Biscuits category.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and delivering category strategies to drive sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction

- Building strong relationships with external suppliers to drive mutual growth

- Analysing market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities

- Managing and optimising category P&L performance, balancing customer value with commercial returns

- Leading negotiations with suppliers to secure the best commercial outcomes

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a commercial trading, buying, or category management role, with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
