## Description

We are seeking an Infrastructure Operations Technician to join our team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. As a hybrid role, you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

**Job Description:**

You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining compute, storage, virtualization, and network infrastructure to ensure high service availability. You will troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate incidents in a timely manner while supporting 24x7 operational activities. Additionally, you will install and support data center and lab infrastructure, including hardware deployment, cabling, power, and connectivity.

**Responsibilities:**

- Monitor and maintain compute, storage, virtualization, and network infrastructure to ensure high service availability.

- Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate incidents in a timely manner while supporting 24x7 operational activities.

- Install and support data center and lab infrastructure, including hardware deployment, cabling, power, and connectivity.

- Execute operational procedures, approved automation workflows, and infrastructure maintenance tasks.

- Collaborate with engineering, security, networking, and application teams to maintain stable and secure services.

**Education and Experience Required:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in infrastructure operations, systems administration, technical support, or a related IT role.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience supporting virtualized environments and enterprise infrastructure platforms.

- Experience working in a 24x7 operations or service support environment.

**Knowledge and Skills:**

- VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or similar virtualization technologies.

- Infrastructure monitoring and incident management tools.

- Systems administration across compute, storage, and operating systems.

- Troubleshooting, documentation, and operational support practices.

- Automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
