## Description

We are seeking a Service Engineer to play a key role in supporting applications end-to-end, enhancing capabilities, and delivering continuous improvement of core banking platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the resilience, performance, and integrity of critical systems while contributing to strategic change and operational excellence within the technology function.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems

- Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of systems, platforms, and technology

- Monitor IT infrastructure and system performance to measure, identify, address, and resolve potential issues

- Develop and implement automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention

- Implement secure configurations and measures to protect infrastructure against cyber-attacks and security threats

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define IT infrastructure requirements and devise solutions

- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and contribute to the organization's technology communities

**Requirements:**

- Experience in Application Support & Service Delivery, leading and providing end-to-end L2/L3 support for core banking applications

- Experience in driving end-to-end automation using Gitlab, Jenkins, and Nexus

- Hands-on proficiency in containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes/EKS

- Experience in maintenance and continuous improvement of application stability, performance, and scalability

- Strong understanding of ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change Management)

- Experience working within regulated financial services environments

- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure production support environment

- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

**Technical Skills:**

- AWS, GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Nexus, Python, PowerShell

- Good-to-have: Datadog, Snyk, SonarQube, ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, Java, Safe Agile
