## Description

We are seeking a Melt-Out Operative to join our team in Brackley. As a Melt-Out Operative, you will assist with the laminating of components and tooling across a range of industry sectors, sizes and complexities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Final preparation of patterns and moulds

- Using a variety of hand tools, small air tools and abrasive paper to hand finish master patterns to the highest of standards

- Spray sealer to patterns then post spraying preparation

- Work to drawings and working instructions

- Help develop processes to improve quality and efficiency

- Keep all equipment maintained

- Ensure the department is kept clean and tidy

**Requirements:**

- Previous experience in a pattern shop or similar environment

- Ability to read engineering drawings

- Good attention to detail is essential

- Able to follow work instructions

- Good awareness of health and safety

- Good verbal communication and listening skills

- Ability to work to tight deadlines

- Ability to remain calm under pressure

- Used to working in a fast-moving environment

- Flexible approach to whatever it takes to get the job done

- Problem Solving skills
