## Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Privacy Manager to enable effective data governance, risk management, and compliance within the bank. You will act as a liaison between business units and the Data & Records Management (DRM) function, translating business needs into actionable strategies and ensuring efficient implementation of DRM.

**Accountabilities**

- Partner with local business units to implement data & records governance frameworks.

- Provide guidance and support on records classification, retention, storage, retrieval, and disposal.

- Monitor local data quality and records metrics, identifying areas for improvement.

- Identify opportunities for data improvement and optimisation.

- Support business units in prioritising data-related decisions.

- Contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change.

- Manage resources, budgets, and policies; deliver continuous improvements.

- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls.

- Collaborate with other areas to keep up to speed with business activity and strategies.

- Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought.

**Requirements**

- Extensive Data Privacy experience within a regulated financial services environment.

- Knowledge of global privacy and data protection regulations.

- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across Business, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, and Operations functions.

- Knowledge of Investment Banking and Markets activities.

**Salary**

- Minimum: $160,000

- Maximum: $200,000
