## Description

At Bayer, we're seeking a Primary Care Sales Consultant to join our team in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Plattsburgh, NY. As a Primary Care Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing sales strategies for our Cardiorenal product and driving launch activities for an anticipated menopause product. Your primary responsibilities will include building and developing professional relationships with primary care physicians, driving appropriate utilization of approved products, and leveraging expertise and knowledge of the diabetes and menopause marketplace.

You will work closely with the Customer Squad to generate pull-through within local payers and community HCPs. You will also provide relevant, thoughtful input to other commercial colleagues regarding strategic and tactical planning for the territory, area, and region. Additionally, you will develop and implement effective customer-specific business plans, communicate insights to internal stakeholders, and prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential.

You will understand fully the assigned customers' product and business needs and work to meet those needs while adhering to all of Bayer company ethics and compliance standards. You will anticipate potential barriers to achievement of goals and propose responsible solutions for success. You will handle customer objections effectively and exceed customer expectations with the value you bring to physicians.

Occasionally, you will be called on to share your exemplary skills with others in the region in a training capacity. You will leverage and embrace emerging technologies to enhance performance, while continuously striving to improve your proficiency. You will understand and comply with pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulations and apply high ethical standards in day-to-day work.

We seek an incumbent who possesses a Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in competitive landscapes. You should have a proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role or other relevant experience. You should also have outstanding written and oral communication skills, demonstrated leadership, and the ability to comply with any customer credentialing and safety requirements.

Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, 5 years of successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales experience, in-depth knowledge in the cardiovascular and/or diabetes and/or menopause disease states, product launch experience, strong analytical and computer capabilities, virtual sales experience, and strong local relationships with HCPs and understanding of local market.
