## Description

We are seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist/Exercise Physiologist/Cardiac Rehab Nurse to join our Heart Failure & Cardiac Rehab team. As a small team of nurses and support assistants, we deliver Heart Failure clinics and Cardiac Rehabilitation classes across West Essex - Harlow, Epping, and Uttlesford. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the integration of the cardiac and respiratory team.

The role involves providing community-based cardiac rehabilitation in various settings, assessing, planning, advising, and evaluating patient treatment within the specialty. You will be required to work autonomously, making clinical decisions and judgments regarding patient management, and contribute to planning programs of cardiac care.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing cardiac rehabilitation in various settings

- Assessing, planning, advising, and evaluating patient treatment

- Working autonomously within scope of practice

- Contributing to planning programs of cardiac care

- Delivering expert health education

- Clinically supervising, educating, and mentoring junior staff

- Undertaking environmental risk assessments to ensure patient and staff safety

The post is permanent, part-time, and band 6, with a salary range of £39,959 to £48,117 per annum, plus a 5% High Cost Allowance.
