## Description

MongoDB is hiring a Senior Manager, Corporate Development & Ventures to help drive its inorganic growth strategy. This role involves partnering closely with the Sr. Director of Corporate Development & Ventures on M&A and strategic investment activity.

The successful candidate will own M&A execution end-to-end, sourcing, evaluating, and running a steady pipeline of deals, and partnering with the Sr. Director and VP on highest-stakes transactions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Independently sourcing, evaluating, and running M&A and investment opportunities

- Building and pressure-testing valuation, structure, and strategic rationale

- Serving as the primary driver through LOI signing and integration planning

- Partnering with the Ventures team to surface actionable opportunities

- Operating effectively with senior stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Venture Capital, and demonstrate strong judgment, analytical rigor, and credibility with technical leaders.

## What Success Looks Like

- Independently owning and closing well-scoped transactions end-to-end

- Being the person the Sr. Director and cross-functional partners rely on to drive deals to close

- Managing multiple live deals simultaneously without losing focus or rigor

- Building a track record and judgment to take on progressively larger and more strategic transactions

- Increasing the overall quality and effectiveness of the Corporate Development function
