As a Senior Software Engineer in the Talent Solutions team, you will architect high-throughput distributed systems that power intelligent candidate matching, autonomous agentic sourcing flows, and real-time LLM-driven interactions over massive talent graphs.

## Responsibilities

- Architectural Leadership: Own the design, evolution, and scaling of core backend services powering TalentOS search, matching, and AI-driven features.

- AI & Agentic Integration: Build robust backend infrastructure for LLM orchestration, intelligent agent workflows, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations to drive automated recruitment intelligence.

- High-Scale Engineering: Engineer secure, performant RESTful APIs and microservices capable of handling heavy concurrent traffic and complex multi-step agent executions.

- Complex Data Ecosystems: Design efficient data models and access patterns across SQL/NoSQL and vector/search databases to query billions of professional data points seamlessly.

- Performance & Reliability: Proactively identify system bottlenecks, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure elite uptime SLAs for mission-critical recruitment workflows.

- Technical Mentorship: Elevate the engineering bar by guiding junior talent, spearheading rigorous code reviews, and driving technical execution.

## Requirements

- Core Experience: 7+ years of rigorous backend engineering experience, with a proven track record of designing and scaling production-grade distributed systems.

- Technical Depth: Expert-level proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language (such as Java, Go, or Python), with a deep understanding of OOP design principles, concurrency, and clean code architecture.

- AI & Modern Tech Fluency: A strong understanding of LLMs, agentic architectures, and emerging standards like Model Context Protocol (MCP), with an enthusiasm for applying modern AI capabilities to backend systems.

- System Design & Cloud Expertise: Strong grasp of distributed systems principles, public cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and containerization/orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Data Fluency: Hands-on experience with modern SQL/NoSQL databases, caching strategies, and data modeling for high read/write throughput.

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience) from a premier institution.
