## Description

GDIT is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join our team of building scalable, maintainable and high-performance UI applications using a microservices architecture.

As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing application frontend framework and technologies, with a focus on building modular, loosely coupled components that integrate with our backend microservices.

**Responsibilities:**

- Design, implement, and manage application frontend framework and technologies

- Build reusable UI components, optimize UI performance, and ensure accessibility

- Collaborate with development team to integrate with backend microservices

- Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users or system engineers, analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes, and investigating problem areas

**Requirements:**

- 8+ years of related experience

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

- Demonstrated experience working with Amazon Web Services environments, including S3

- Demonstrated experience programming in Java and/or JavaScript

- Demonstrated experience with J2EE and enterprise web application design and development

- Demonstrated experience working with RDS databases

- Demonstrated experience designing and writing RESTful applications

- Demonstrated experience creating and deploying applications to an Apache Tomcat web server

- Demonstrated ability to debug existing software and correct defects

- Demonstrated ability to make recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards

- Demonstrated experience with change management processes using GitHub and/or Jira

- Demonstrated ability to develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users or system engineers, analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes, and investigating problem areas

- Demonstrated experience translating product requirements into system solutions that take into account technical, schedule, cost, security, and policy constraints

- Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment and leading agile projects

- Demonstrated experience collaborating with staff, IT customers, and other technical and non-technical staff and contractors at all levels

**Security Clearance Level:**

- TS/SCI with Polygraph
