## Description

Millennium Space Systems, a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), is seeking an Experienced Production Operations Specialist (SPAM) for a 1st shift position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of application interfaces, data flows, and systems. They will act as a key liaison between teams, ensuring cross-functional alignment, maintaining project timelines, and validating technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing processes and methods that comply with company policies and procedures, improves production efficiency, and optimizes product quality

- Monitors, assesses, and provides status on production progress, actions, issue resolution, and support needs

- Investigates product defects and production inefficiencies and develops solutions to reduce/mitigate

- Conducts staffing and cost analyses

- Coordinates and prepares justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation

- Represents manufacturing on production related issues

- Establishes and maintains production schedules

Requirements:

- High School Diploma

- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

- 3+ years of hands-on experience building Propulsion and Mechanical systems

- 1+ years of experience leading teams

- Experience working with various manufacturing execution systems

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the aerospace industry

- Proficiency with PC Applications, especially Excel

- Excellent written and Verbal Communications

- Demonstrated ability to aggregate, visualize, and analyze data to make informed decisions (i.e. SQL, Excel, PowerBI, etc.)

Security Clearance:

- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.
