Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target involves providing an exceptional guest experience by delivering high-quality food and beverages in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues promptly.

Responsibilities include:

- Providing a consistent Starbucks experience for guests

- Maintaining product quality and freshness

- Following state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines

- Managing inventory, including replenishment, instocks, and rotation

- Delivering exceptional guest experiences during all hours of operation

- Upholding Food & Beverage Standards

- Executing food and beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, and cleaning

- Maintaining an inviting dining area for guests

- Engaging with guests to meet and exceed their expectations

- Producing handcrafted beverages and food to specifications

- Following food safety requirements and best practices

- Completing cleaning tasks and recording information

- Locating and identifying damaged or recalled items

- Ensuring accurate in-stocks and inventory recording

- Executing sampling best practices

- Supporting guest services, such as back-up cashier and order pick-up

Requirements:

- Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred but not required

- Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members

- Ability to communicate effectively and operate technology equipment

- Capability to work independently and as part of a team

- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes

- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

- Physical demands, such as lifting up to 44 pounds and working in varying temperatures
