## Description

Join Deliveroo's Commercial team in Genova as a Business Development Manager, helping to build new relationships with premium restaurants and stores.

In this role, you'll be a critical driver of expansion in Italy, focusing on high-end partnerships and providing a world-class onboarding experience for new merchants.

Your day-to-day tasks might include:

- Strategic Prospecting: Mapping, prospecting, pitching, and closing new restaurants across Genova.

- Consultative Selling: Communicating with restaurant owners to demonstrate the value of Deliveroo's technology.

- Onboarding Support: Guiding partners through the joining process.

- Relationship Building: Attending restaurant and food meet-ups to stay connected with the local culinary community.

- Market Expertise: Using industry knowledge to demonstrate how Deliveroo's products solve real-world challenges.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Significant sales experience with a 'hunter' mindset.

- Proven negotiation skills.

- Strong communication skills.

- Tenacity and a resilient approach to working in a fast-moving environment.

- Industry knowledge of the restaurant sector is a plus.

In terms of compensation, the total target earnings for this role is €35,200 – €44,000 gross per year, with a base salary range of €17,200 – €26,000.
