## Description

This senior regional leadership role will lead, coach and develop a team of business markets professionals to support client retention, acquisition and growth, optimizing revenue and providing superior customer service to our small business client segment.

You will lead the implementation of strategic initiatives, pursue market opportunities, and profile/enhance RBC’s brand with governments, specific industry segments and community groups.

**Responsibilities:**

- Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives and pursue market opportunities across the region

- Champion client strategies and management practices to achieve superior client experience and enhance employee capability and engagement while leveraging full RBC Financial Group capabilities

- Demonstrate your market leadership by promoting the RBC brand and enhancing visibility by developing and maintaining a network in the business community

- Manage the business to achieve market and business objectives while balancing both operational and credit risk requirements

- Employ digital channels, raise client awareness, and ensure your team is enabling clients with RBC digital access

**Requirements:**

- Proven track record of leadership, coaching and people development ability

- Astute business acumen with strong knowledge of financial industry and familiar with the dynamics and financing challenges associated with a small business enterprise

- Ability to develop and maintain strong business and community networks

- Have successfully led substantive change initiatives and have proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders

- Experience with emerging communications and technology

**Nice to Have:**

- Commercial Banking and/or Small Business experience an asset

- Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

- Post-secondary diploma/degree or related experience

- Bilingual (French/English)
