## Description

We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Manor Court Care Home in Southall. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering an excellent dining experience for our residents.

Manor Court Care Home is a purpose-built residential care home providing tailored care options for short or long-term needs. The home offers a range of services, including care for people living with dementia, Parkinson’s and Huntington's disease, and palliative care.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will:

- Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents

- Assist the chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys, and ensure all preparation areas are kept clean and tidy

- Monitor stock rotation, comply with company policies and procedures, and follow all mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines

- Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen

- A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with the wider kitchen and care home teams
