## Description

We are seeking a Dual Service Officer to join our team at Killingworth Shopping Centre.

As a Dual Service Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises in a busy shopping centre. You will also be responsible for day-to-day cleaning and housekeeping, and supporting the day-to-day supervision of the daily operations of the Centre.

Key responsibilities include:

- Carrying out daily cleaning within the Centre following PPM Schedules

- Ensuring efficient recycling and waste management

- Maintaining welfare facilities in good condition

- Liaising with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the Centre

- Cleaning car parks and emptying bin liners

- Conducting daily inspections of site streets, car parks, and public access areas

- Ensuring all Health & Safety checks are carried out

- Communicating and delivering Health and Safety practices and regulations

- Preventing, detecting, and investigating disturbances and offences on site

- Accurately reporting incidents and accidents

- Viewing and downloading recorded footage and maintaining multiple information feeds

- Dealing with individuals who act in an anti-social manner

- Responding to emergency situations

- Ensuring all contractors have a valid permit to work

- Performing reception duties

- Testing fire alarm systems

- Dealing with spillages or litter

- Taking responsibility for your own and others' health and safety

Required skills and experience:

- Excellent customer service

- Great communication skills

- Professional approach with sound judgement and integrity

- Ability to remain calm under pressure

- Flexibility to cover holidays and sick leave

- SIA Door Supervisor Licence
