## Description

The Pharmacy Practice Manager role at Asda is a hybrid position focusing on patient care and commercial goals. You will report to the Area Manager and be responsible for delivering pharmacy-related targets, managing the store Pharmacist and pharmacy colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading, coaching, and developing the pharmacy team to provide excellent patient experience and achieve high levels of patient safety

- Supporting and developing direct reports and locums to maintain high standards of professional customer service and compliance with GPhC operating standards and clinical governance

- Taking direct responsibility for the support and development of all direct reports and locums

The role involves a rota system with set working hours: Week 1:

- Monday: 09:00–20:00

- Tuesday: 09:00- 16:30

- Thursday 09:00–20:00

- Friday: 16:00–20:00

Week 2:

- Saturday: 09:00–20:00

- Monday: 09:00–20:00

- Tuesday: 09:00- 16:30

- Thursday 09:00–20:00

- Friday 15:00–20:00

Requirements:

- Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC

- Accredited to deliver national and local services for the NHS and private healthcare

- Ability to balance line manager and pharmacist roles to ensure safe working

- Experience in challenging and resolving difficult situations while maintaining solid connections with store and field teams
