We are currently looking for a Machine Setup Technician in Packaging at our Freiburg site, initially for a 2-year fixed-term contract.

**Job Summary:** As a Machine Setup Technician in Packaging, you will operate various packaging systems, conduct repairs and maintenance, collaborate on technical trials and machine conversions, operate and program control devices, and prepare production lines.

**Responsibilities:**

- Operate various packaging systems

- Conduct repairs and maintenance on packaging systems

- Collaborate on technical trials and machine conversions

- Operate and program control devices

- Convert, adjust, and clean packaging systems and prepare production lines

- Troubleshoot issues with packaging systems

- Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes and reduction of downtime and disruptions

- Perform maintenance and calibration tasks

**Requirements:**

- Completed training as an electronics technician, mechatronics engineer, plant electronics technician, or a recognised specialist profession with a journeyman's certificate

- Knowledge of control and regulation technology as well as experience in converting and optimising production systems is advantageous

- Good PC user skills

- Independent work style and teamwork ability

- Willingness to work in shift work
