## Description

We are seeking a Kazakh Localization QA Tester / Proofreader to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Linguistic Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our Kazakh content is accurate, polished, and natural-sounding for end-users.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing and refining localized content to ensure it reads smoothly and is error-free

- Checking grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, formatting, and cultural or contextual accuracy

- Executing test cases, identifying localization bugs, and reporting issues through internal bug-tracking systems

- Verifying that fixes have been implemented correctly

- Translating content from English into Kazakh as needed

- Exploring user interfaces to identify localization or functional issues

This role requires native-level Kazakh fluency, strong attention to detail, and an interest in quality assurance within digital products. Ideal candidates will have a background in marketing, journalism, copy editing, proofreading, writing, translation, or localization.

In this role, you will:

- Write and report relevant bugs and errors using best practices through the internal database system

- Prioritize tasks and issues quickly and efficiently

- Utilize native language skills and cultural awareness of Kazakh and Kazakhstan

- Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills

- Be highly organized with attention to detail and a commitment to quality

- QA various products by accurately following testing instructions and test cases

- Discover and report defects (bugs) using client-specific bug-tracking tools

- Evaluate translations in the context of software, mobile apps, and documentation

- Serve as a subject matter expert for linguistic issues in Kazakh

- Adhere to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides, and client-preferred checklists and glossaries

- Troubleshoot basic problems and communicate effectively
