## Description

We're looking for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Manager to join our People Team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality, proactive HR advisory service.

As a Senior Employee Relations Manager, you will act as deputy to the Head of People Advice and lead the team in their absence. You will provide expert guidance on complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, and capability. You will also advise on high-risk matters such as whistleblowing, settlement agreements, TUPE, redundancy, and tribunal preparation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing expert guidance on complex ER cases

- Advising on high-risk matters

- Overseeing the People Advice phone line, inbox, and business change requests

- Building strong relationships with managers and leaders across the business

- Analysing ER data to identify trends and support proactive interventions

- Mentoring People Advisors and supporting onboarding

- Delivering ER training and contributing to policy development

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience

- Significant ER experience in a complex, fast-paced organisation

- Experience in a unionised environment

- Strong knowledge of UK employment law

- Excellent coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- High emotional intelligence and sound judgement
